Mannschaft is an independent film production and boutique distribution company founded in 2017 and based in Prague formed by producers Marek Dusil, Jakub Vacík and Barbora Veverková.

We focus on developing and producing short and feature-length documentary and fiction films. We primarily work with debut directors and concentrate on distinctive author-driven projects that use a contemporary cinematic language, often in dialogue with visual art. Our aim is to develop genre filmmaking while also supporting genres that appear only rarely in Czech cinema, such as horror.

We are two-time winners of the Czech Lion Award for Best Short Film (Credentialing – 2024; Buzz of the Earth – 2025). Our films have screened at festivals such as the Krakow Film Festival, Ji.hlava IDFF, Premiers Plans, Scanorama, and One World
