Chybění / You Will Never See It All
SYNOPSIS
A documentary about the life and work of the conceptual artist Jan Mancuska, who tragically died in 2011 at the age of 39 after having made a significant impact in the context of contemporary world art. Told backwards, the story of Mancuska's life portrays him in many ways, showing both the artistic approach and the philosophical dimension of his work, as well as human warmth and humour. The experimental nature of the film is inspired by the vast creative world of its protagonist, making it a complex, open-ended statement about the possibilities of individuality to achieve freedom.
